Your Data Security
FitMeterApp is designed so that core calculators can be used without an account. This policy explains what remains on your device and when information is sent to another service.
Data Collection
We do not require accounts. Profile details and recent calculator history are processed and stored in your browser's local storage, not in a FitMeterApp user account.
Your Controls
You can remove saved dashboard data by clearing this site's browser storage. Private-browsing modes may remove it automatically when the session ends.
Contact Messages
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, selected subject and message are sent to a Google Apps Script endpoint so the FitMeterApp team can respond. Do not include medical records or other sensitive personal information.
Food Lookup
The food nutrition lookup sends the food term you enter to Open Food Facts. Do not enter personal information into the food-search field. The third-party service may receive ordinary technical request information such as an IP address and browser details.
Optional Live Chat
The Tidio live-chat service loads only after you select the “Live chat” button. When loaded, Tidio may process chat messages and ordinary technical information under its own privacy terms. Do not send medical records or other sensitive information through chat.
Hosting Logs and Future Analytics
Our hosting provider may process routine server logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access for security and reliability. If optional advertising or analytics services are added, this policy and any required consent controls should be updated before they are enabled.
Children's Information
FitMeterApp is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request its removal.
Questions and Requests
To ask a privacy question or request correction or deletion of information sent through the contact form, email info@fitmeterapp.com. Applicable privacy rights may differ by location.
